BSS were brought in to oversee the refurbishment of a prestigious office building in the Mayfair conservation area.
Over the course of the project, Building Steel Solutions helped remove one of two basement floors and the first floor to make two auction rooms for tenant Philips Auctions.
We supplied steel for lift shafts and secondary requirements, while assisting with adding in a new seventh floor, and installing terraces on the fifth, sixth, and seventh floors. The job was large, but our trusted teams worked together to make sure that there were no on-site injuries resulting from lack of health and safety measures.
The auctioneers now display collections in modern, double-height galleries across the lower ground to first floors.
